Excel Layout: Changing the Page Layout

You want to print a list of your customers’ orders. Since your list has quite a few columns, it would make sense to print it in landscape format.

In this learning object “Excel Layout”, you will discover how to set the Orientation of your Excel table to either landscape or portrait format.

Excel Layout: HOW DOES IT WORK?

To set the orientation of your list to landscape or portrait format, first click the Page Layout tab. Then click the  button in the Page Setup group, and finally, select either Landscape or Portrait .

If you now go to the Print option in the File tab, you can see in the Print Preview pane how your document will look when it’s printed out.

You can also change the page orientation under the File tab  . There, in the Print option, in the Settings section, you can choose the orientation you desire.
