The basic excel settings: YOUR OBJECTIVE
You are already working with Excel 2010. Some of your colleagues, however, do not have access to this version yet. You will have to save the workbooks you have created with Excel 2010 in the Excel97-2003 file format, so that your colleagues will be able to open them. You can set this as your default file format, so that you do not have to set it every time you save a file. You can also automatically preselect a certain folder as default path. This way, you avoid having to browse to this folder every time you save a file. You can set which format Excel automatically selects in Excel Options. In addition, you can also adjust numerous excel settings regarding the appearance and behavior of Excel. In this learning module you will learn how to call up Excel Options and apply changes there.
